As strange as this seems, it's the truth.

Display Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> GeForce3 -> Additional Properties -> Direct3D Settings -> "Display Logo when running Direct3D Applications"

This stops Milkdrop from working correctly. (It hasn't stopped any other 3d games from working.)

I actually suspect this was my problem a few months back, after I installed the Detonator drivers and things stopped working... I ended up removing all traces of NVidia drivers and reinstalling them, and probably forgot to recheck the logo box.

At that time I was using Win98SE, GeForce3 and Detonator 12.81.
Now I'm using W2k, GeForce3 and Detonator XP 12.83.

How very strange it does it on mine too. With a Geforce 2 MX card.

Not me! It works fine except I can't see any Nvidia logos

DetXP 12.83, WinME, TNT2 M64

Who needs Geforce anyway?
