Hello.

My 'puter doesn't run milkdrop properly, and I have no idea why. Specifically, MD will launch, but the visuals are lame - mostly a black screen with a few colored lines and circles. it's like Milkdrop for your Atari or something. My buddy runs MD on his PC (the two machines are almost identical) with no problems; we think it could be a winamp problem since other visualizers are a little dodgy as well, and the built-in vislab doesn't show up at all... just a black window. Could it be something to do with the sound signal? (I have onboard sound, no external sound card, whereas the other guy does).
I wonder if anyone has ever had the same problem?
For the record, the PC is a P4 1.4 running GeForce 2Ti card. I have benchmarked the card and it's running perfectly.
Thanks for any advice or suggestions you might have

drivers.

wha?

Drivers. Clear out all the old drivers on your system, and do it properly. Uninstall the current drivers, install a standard vga adapter driver, and then go through the registry deleting anything to do with nvidia. The install the 21.81 (or any newer, if they exist) drivers from nvidia.
You might want to uninstall directX (need a 3rd party program) and reinstall the latest version, too.
