BTW I don't like your skins because you probably don't make eq, pl, ml....
And if you do, I don't see any way in wich you can connect pl with this player look
and skins look prety simple
But thats only my opinion....

ok... i would make skins that have everything done >>>BUT<<< if you read one of my other posts you will find out that....

1. if a have my Main Window and EQ in a standerd dir the main window is normal but the EQ shrinks to about 40*40 (should be 200*100)...

2. if a have my Main Window and EQ in a .zip/.wal the EQ is normal but the Main window shrinks to about 40*40 (should be 300*300)...

3. I have never even HERD of XML before Winamp 3.0 came out, so i stil VERY VERY VERY new to it

4. I dont spend all of my time making skins... i have a girlfriend (who takes up alot of my time) and i was the one who made the WA3 scripting tool (that only took me around 24 hours combined, spread over 3 or 4 days) and im still serching for extra XML code to add in to the tool

5. Were are all of your AWARD WINNING SKINS, i wanna see some...

next time i see you, you better have the answers to my questions, or be waving a white flag high and clear....

Noone, not even me, is trying to piss you off.
I was very new to this aswell a couple of weeks ago but I keep working on just one skin, and I believe I learn more by doing so, and I think my skin really is quite good too.
Ofcourse, there are some fantastic, unbelievable great looking skins too out there, but I'm very happy so far and I'm gonna keep up the work, whenever I have the time, until it's ready and I'm completly satisfied with it.

What I'm trying to say is, work on just one or two skins instead of making new all the time, and instead put down more work on the skin(s).
Time has nothing to do with it, since you just aswell could use the time it takes for you to make new skins and instead improve one or two chosen skins, making them rock!

You know what I mean?



Oh, and I don't hate Offspring, they are pretty good.

Well, I didn't agree with everything he said but I agreed with the concept, no PL, ML, EG and that they are simple and stuff...
(That's one reason why I wrote the last post)

I don't mean to criticise you in any way if that's what you thought.
I'm just trying to help with some advices.

Offspring are cool...I think they've steadily improved since I first heard them.

Dex - The blade skin is a little too "cut n paste" for my tastes. I'm no artist, and am always tempted to just grab some pic and use it in a project, and there's really nothing wrong with that, but I think you could maybe spend some more time touching it up still. Get rid of the extra black-space around Blade whereever possible, and make the buttons lighter. Still, it isn't horrible or anything. Just not done yet :)

BTW, did you want me to host your tool still? Maybe you could call it Winamp3 XML Helper, kinda boring...describes what it does anyway.

If you want to send me the skin too I'll look and try to determine why the pl, etc isn't working.

i myself think the offspring has had a fairly steady decline, after i heard pretty fly for a white guy i swore i wouldnt buy that album, i heard it, it sucked, and their new one, oi vey :p i think ignition was their best

Calm down, I was just pointing where should you improve....
'cause everyone thought that new skining engine would mean lots of
better skins, and no skins at all that use etc. car's picture as a background (look how much is there that kind of skins for wa2 with just Ferrari or Lamborghini's image)...
But now it's even easier to make that kind of skin because you don't have to mess around with buttons...

We all just want to improve skins and help each other so don't be mad..

I'm 17 and I don't see a reason why should you point out that you have girlfriend...
