The Sony MZ-R900 Skin

im thinking about making a Sony MZ-R900 skin for Winamp3 and i want it to emulate the Mini Disc player very closely. But it has LCD menus and etc. and im not exactly sure how to do this. So anyone have a MZ-R900 and know how to make skin using xml for winamp3? also this is my first winamp3 skin.

it'll probly be not tilted and with out remote and head phones but who knows depending on how easy this is i might include them what do you think?

I've got the blue one.
I was thinking of making a skin based on it, because it's such a sweet player. But I never got round to it.

i thinks its great that we all like the Sony MZ-R900 but i still need a solution to this problem so if you or someone else in this community has done this or something like this can you tell them to take a look at this thread?

oh if you didnt know when i said this i mean making an menu like the kind on nokia phones.

You could have each menu screen on a seperate layer, and hide all but one of them.
And when you click on a choice on each menu layer, it hides that one and then shows the appropriate layer.

could i have it so a single button cycle through a bunch of screens?
like
if screen1 visable and menu button pressed
then hide all screens but screen2
...
so on in a cycle that goes to 5 then back to one

and also could i have a menu bar and have when you click it the current row of buttons slide into the cycling button and then have the next layer come out

like i think i get it now

but now i gotta understand xml coding any one recommend a book or website?

before i get to the MZ-r900 im finishing up a christmas skin
and i need to know how i need to write the xml so i can have really specific buttons.
well ok i need to know how to define buttons for all the parts poinsettia. heres a picture of it, i need a button for every leaf and petal.
