Some new effects, some old favorites, all recoded for improved performance, smoother transitions, better colors, and genetic beat detection.

Please note that if you have your transition time set to less than 2 or 3 seconds, or use hard-cuts, you might detect a slight "big bang" effect at the start of some of the presets as the engine initializes itself and fills the entropy pool.

It's been downloaded 43 times, and nobody's said anything. Wassup, y'all afraid to criticize it and tell me it sucks? C'mon.

unchained, I've downloaded them all, but my computer is refusing to run MD at the moment, as soon as it's back in action I'll tell you what I think.

Where have all the preset writers gone? These are the only new ones in the past week.... I'll try and do more as soon as I can use my computer properly again.

Heh - I've been meaning to reply, but just been too lazy =]

A very nice collection you've got here - Some very good effects, and mods of existing ones. I've kept about half of them (some renamed - braindance visions 2 for example). They're all very good.
I haven't had much time to watch MD for a while, so I can't comment in any more detail, but good work anyway =]

I am trying to keep a collection of all the presets ever. grrr

Are you going to make me analysis each of these in turn for changes or are you going to post a new zip.:)

I expect the former.:(

See not afraid to criticise. ;) and haven't even seen them yet

They're ALL updated, 180 degrees different than anything I've posted before, just re-used some of the names.

Kill off the old ones, for all I care, but if you want to archive them for some odd reason it's YOUR problem :P

Wow, your sliding-state beat detection is quite good now, Unchained! Still seems to pick up some of the intermittent beats in certain house techno music, though. But I'm still impressed... good work!

Any specific presets within the group that do or don't pick up the beat well? In particular, how do "Deeper Logic" and my new "Rave Titan" (recently posted in another thread) respond to your techno stuff? I'm really interested because I mostly use techno for my testing.

Now I have finally had a look at them there are some really good mods in here.

Both Deeper Logic and Rave Titan are following the beat almost flawlessly, now. I don't really know what beat I was playing before, or which presets I was watching before. I usually just leave it on Tag's Trance Trip or Digitally Imported on Shoutcast. :winamp: Now that I've watched for a while, I really like Deeper Logic.
