I broadcast from my computer to an external server, which then rebroadcasts it to listeners. The problem is when for some odd reason the connection between the server and me is reset and I have to reconnect to the server (Linux 1.8.3), my bitrate settings in Shoutcast (1.8.2a) which are normally 80 kbps are set back to the default 24 kbps. If I leave my station on over night I usually find it in the morning broadcasting at 24 when it should be at 80. It doesn't have any problems though when I set it back manually .. until it resets the connection again ...... also, what is the buffer position mean and what are underruns? Thanks
