On the one hand, that's really funny.

On the other, it's really messed up, because that's a serious article (or seems to be).

How about:

"Tiger Woods plays with own balls, **** says"

"Statistics show that teen pregnancy drops off significantly after age 25"

"Jane Fonda to teens: Use head to avoid pregnancy":D

"Alcohol ads promote drinking"
:)

Most headlines make me laugh. They normally over sensationalise the story.

what is so bad about karaoke? actually, don't answer that. But most people aren't bad enough at singing to be blown apart...are they?

The funniest headline I ever read was something along the lines of "Margret thatcher sexier than Britney Spears" (this was in the Daily telegraph, the story was about how many MP's found "maggies" ankles um, nicer than Britney Spears...)

Well I know we've all heard Drunk people do Karaoke that deserve to be shot for making already horrible songs even worse (HEEEEET MEEE BEH-BEEE WEN MOR TIME)

But they are in Cambodia connecting karaoke bars (which are a phenomenon in asia) with vice. Thats why they're destroying them. Its sad actually.

Its just that the premise is so funny i cant help it.:blah:

Yesterday as I flicked through the (omited to protect the ignorant) I saw "young male escort servise? just call (coff coff)and ask for (coff)" in the clasifide section , surly this is a mistake for a local paper to run such ad's and is it not ilegal? Mrs (coff)"RESPONCE"Sorry Mrs (coff) it was a mistake"
and the same ad still runs today.:D

a few recent ones that i've seen in the english papers, which could mean something completely different if you don't know what they're on about.

"steps split"
"bin liner found"
"man found in bath naked"

can't remember anymore at the mo.
