This may sound strange but........I have a small problem with good old milkdrop.

Whenever I have no additional text on the screen eg Not displaying FPS, Title names etc. sometimes the waveform 'misses a beat' and does not display.

It is a bit hard to explain but could someone run the attached preset to see if you get the same problem.

I have attached to a couple of screenshots which show the problem for me. It only happens nothing else is on the screen and when the slow text fix is OFF. :(

I could well be my graphics card (ge-Force 2 MX (32MB)), drivers for it (standard microsoft), Operating system (XP), my set-up, etc or could be MilkDrop.

I suspect it is my graphics card as slow text fix=ON, etc screws up for me?

Could someone please try it out for me? Any ideas?

Thanks,

Rovastar

Rovastar I tested the circle with fix slow text off and no text on the screen and everything works wonderful on my end. Hope this is how you wanted the test. Could be your vid card or who knows, you said that you have the drivers for XP are they the newest for your card? Also learned one thing today from the help word file you made. Nice little circle though. Might make a mod in the future. SM

Rovastar, I meant to tell you that I am not really a good person for yu to use as a tester for your situation as my specs are not the same as yours. Ati, pentium, win200 and what not. I suggest you get someone with your same vid card and op then you can narrow it down much better, it might not be your vid card, it could be something else. SM

It seems to run fine for me. It skipped once, but I think that's because I got an IM. heh.

P3 733/133, 256mb pc100ram, gf2 GTS/32megs ram, WinXP Pro Beta (build 2504), all latest drivers (I'm a bit overzealous about driver updates...heh)
