Legacy support section
Winamp 2.8x only:
After doing all of the above depending on your operating system,
install Peter's wa2update (http://www.public.asu.edu/~abarber2/mirror/wa2update.exe) for Winamp 2.8x and try switching between WaveOut and DirectSound Outputs.
Win2k and WinXP users are strongly advised to use DirectSound Output.
Note: Winamp 2.9x users should NOT install wa2update patch !!!
Winamp3 v1.0 (build #488):
Winamp3 users should install wa3update (http://www.public.asu.edu/~abarber2/mirror/wa3update.exe)
