I love my Trillian. I don't want to see it go.

I love the microsoft statement

"As we've said all along, we believe that the ultimate benefit for consumers is a standard for instant messaging/interoperability among all IM products"

Of course, Microsoft has always been a huge advocate of whats best for the consumer. They have always been stalwart defenders of competition and interoperability.

Trillian users have joined together to support the start-up by sending in donations to ensure additional updates. Although it has won in the past, AOL may have met an unexpected adversary with Trillian, as the software is designed and supported by those who ultimately control AOL's fate - the consumers.

People power works. I love it when people pull together.

People power doesn't always work. This example of People power was very difficult to clean out of the tank treads. Soon thats what trillian will be as well - a smear.

Well thats AOL/MSN for you.
Trillian is a good program, even though I never use it that often.:(

What do MSN have to do with it? They are saying that Trillian is a good thing.

Well, I will give "props" to Micro$oft for at least not being assholes like AOLTW and letting people use their client however they want to...however, they do kinda force it down Windows users throats ;)...it comes as a default install in Win now I think. But at least they don't have ads.
