I read a post recently about streaming with Shoutcast in Realtime. I understand that it is impossible to get true real-time, but what settings can I adjust to make it closer to real time/
Here's my application.
I use Shoutcast to stream live radio broadcasts from a laptop with a 256k wireless internet connection and I receive the feed on a 512k wireless connection. I have set the quality of stream to 96k, 44.1 Mono. Thanks for your help!

Shoutcast form the DSP to the Server has a set 1MB buffer. The higher the bitrate the faster the buffer gets filled. The Server - Client buffer can be adjusted under:
Preferences (Ctrl-P) > Plug-ins > Input > Double click on "Nullsoft MPEG Audio Decoder..." > Streaming Tab
