following flatmatt's course of action (which I think happens to be a good idea) could one of you other reviewers check out the following links? The thing is, I'm not sure anyone knows who the original author is, and any sites I've found from '98-'99 (When the skin was first made) list a name that doesn't appear on any of these links. Th original is not in the DB, or if it is, the author drastically renamed it. The original author does not appear to be known by any of those who ripped/added to his skin.
first instance in DB (http://www.winamp.com/skins/detail.jhtml;?componentId=3827) color variation, not by original author. I don't think we should remove it though, since it's the oldest @winamp.com
first addition (http://www.winamp.com/skins/detail.jhtml;?componentId=5749) MB added. Not sure about what to do wit this one - it's the oldest @ winamp.com that's in the original color.
second addition (http://www.winamp.com/skins/detail.jhtml;?componentId=55504) this one takes the above skin, and adds the AVS. Not sure what to do with it, since it's the only complete version in the DB.
oh, BTW - I've already removed some blatant rips of the above versions.
here's (http://www.krasse-aktionen.de/html/links.html) a site with the orig. It's a ways down the screen - the author is Serge Derome or summat. (He is the orig author as far as I can tell.)
