I want to edit some voice recordings that I have uploaded from a tape machine. I need to cut, copy, past, enhance sound, etc but I'm not sure if winamp has a plug-in to complete the job. Is there a plug-in and where can I locate it.

It's much easier to use software dedicated to the job. I personally recommend one of Cool Edit Pro (http://www.syntrillium.com/) or Goldwave (http://www.goldwave.com/), but they're not free.

There is also Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/), which is free.
