I didn't read the whole article, but I'm lazy, so could someone tell me if the general public will have access to th code?

You can be assured that hackers are swarming and plotting to find anyway they can to steal any source code that is put on another computer.

Almost reminds me of prometheus and the fire... and believe me microsoft could easily cause birds to rip out hacker's livers. :)

whats the point? like the judge is really gonna be able to read millions of lines of source code.

No, but the judge will have a commissioned team of programmers working for the state read the source code. There is a very good chance one of these people might "accidentally" post some or all of it to the internet.

Yep! That's the one. MS will chain hackers to a rock facing the ocean and Peedy will eat his liver every day- and only the most "leet" hackers have the skillz needed to grow their liver back for a week. :)

Referring to (sort of) Alfred Hitchcock's movie Birds.
That would be kind of amusing seeing hacker's attacked by birds in a movie.:)

More of a bad thing if people start making there own version of windows there is going to be so many compatibility issues with software. it'll probly dystroy windows if it becomes open sourse

That was the other one I was thinking about! All that ran through my mind at the time was Hitchcock. Prometheus was the one that got his liver eaten by that bird.:(
