hmm i don't think the new protocol is decentralized. my guess is that frontcode programmers decided to do this incase of legal attacks.

I'm upgrading right now. WinMX just kicks the other Spyware filled sharing systems around so badly, Kazaa and Morpheous can't compete. Its refreshing to have a file-sharer that doesn't exploit users.

Oh, and I'm on dialup, and have a firewall. Granted, I have XP, so it has one built in. Actually, according to ShieldsUP! it stealths ALL my ports.
