a new skin comin this way!!!!!!!!!

heya folks, ive managed to make some work on a skin this past few
days.

the skin is called BlueMoon and i like it.
it has a difference from other skins (duh)
and 1 sweet surprize.

im still working on it, improving it as i go along.
i wont post a screen shot because it might scare ya,
but what ill tell ya: its blue and pretty simple.
graphics may not be my strongest side, but im trying
so understand me.

if youre gonna comment, be easy on me, and understand
im still a rookie at skining.

ok guys, here it is! it may change, so dont whine.

some points:

1.) its a beta version of my skin, anything may change.
(if my imagination lets me, ill change the whole skin)

2.) the Cbuttons are in thier own container, some of
you might not like this, but its a matter of opinion

3.) some buttons and other stuff are just a placeholder
so basically im making the layout, dont get pissed yet.

4.) some people already saw it (you know who you are)
so if you comment here, suggest something useful and dont
act like its the first time you see it.

5.) its just a screenie, im afraid its too beta now

I like that half-moon shape!
Make the cbuttons component symmetric (already told you on MSN)
Use some layer styles on the buttons for good 3d'ish, and make the light come from the same corner. The buttons look weird now

well, your 3d'ish suggestion on the BG, wont be possible cause
i used a premade layer style, ill need to download some good
plugins to get 1337 HAX0urzzz effects, basically im testing
photoshop 6.0 cause its still new for me, i suck ass now
but ill get better with time and experience!

anyways, ill continue on this, and laters ill make more serious skins

so be fare-warned, im dangerous and equipped with hot gfx program
ready to shoot dreamy gfx! ;) ;) ;) ;)

Don't Mind AvexTrax he iritates everybody in the sonique forum as well. Don't Judge us sonique users by AvexTrax.
Although I wish more people would just give Sonique 2 a try instead of just saying oh its a peice of sheite without ever giving it a try.

Otherwise keep on sharpening your Photoshop skills and hopefully well see a nice skin in the future.

feros, thanks, im trying to do my best and someone is messing
with me!

because i dont want to start another "winamp vs. sonique" war, ill
just say i like both players and i wish they will succeed with whatever they go.

im trying to find some free photoshop plugins that will let me to
do those 1337 shitte skins, this is hard proccess from me so
im kinda nervous, i mean im having a hard time figuring out this
magnificent thing called freeform skining. i tried before and failed
twice:

once when i made a sketch and done nothing later.
second when i got a help from pixelpusher and the skin failed
to succeed because he was too "flat". so now i feel bad about it
and im afraid none of my skins will be successful, so this time
is really critical for me! u know what im saying?

i checked sonique's skin archive for some ideas, but all skins seem
hard to do in both gfx and scripting.
i still need help with all of this, but ill pray im on my right way

take some tutorials on interface design, do some buttons tutorials, 3dish etc.
