YO check this...

i downloaded the basic skin....but why the hell are there soo many files?...i mean cant i edit them without doing each one seperately...and how the hell do i have conrtol over the numbers?...all these files are basically gif format....i mean i have no control over things and how they operate...if soemone can please tell me how do i put these pices together..because i wanna really try and make a skin...

Erm... Yes, you have control over things and no, you have no control over how they operate, you can only change the way they look, that's why it is called a skin :) But with a bit of imagination you can make it look as if you had changed the way they operate, just take a look at other people's skins (for example, the volume and balance controls in nucleo's n_log or forever chaos' the_entity).
