Ever heard of anything worse than you skin getting ripped?

Here it is.My friends skin.Reported already to the rip forum.

My friends skin has 19,406 dl's while the rip has 114,047 dls.Thats so frustuating.:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

I told him and he is mad.

Thanx to downraters I guess.Guess if someone ripped one of my skins he/she woeld get more dl's.All my skins get burried.

Having a published skin ripped is terrible. But what I wonder about is if you posted a ss on the forums for comments and suggestions and somebody ripped it would you have any recourse ?
I am working on a skin that I would like some input on, but know if I put it up here, it`s open to the world (rippers included).
It may not be that good but I put a lot of time into it and wouldn`t want it stolen.
Any ideas ?

I would say take pride in the fact that the skin is yours, so what if he gets some of the credit for ytour efforts. Art is in the eye of the beholder. and in the end it is just nice to know that you helped people in some way with your art.

Since when is rippin an art.What I found incredibly stupid in this particular rip is that the authors name is right there on the eq and the ripper didnt bother to change that or the readme.txt.This isnt just a ripper this is a dumb ripper.

reminds me of a thing i saw on tv - 'world's worst accidents' or something.
it's late at night and a guy comes home from the pub really drunk, he puts his key in the door and unlocks it. instead of pushing the door open with his hands he leans on it and pushes it with his head.. just the sort of lazy thing you do when you're drunk...
well, sticking out of the door was a small hook. it missed his eye but went through his eyelid and hooked itself under the bone behind his eyebrow. he was stuck with his skull fastened to his door and had to wait for an hour or so before someone saw him and called an ambulance.......:igor: gross!

anyway what's this thread about again? oh yeah rips,bummer..... how come it got so many downloads? was it featured?

The rip got so many dls because it was the first skin on the first page in the movies category.
