Hi,
I'm running a stream with live content from a policescanner.
(195.96.120.220:8000)
Currently I'm running the latest winamp version with the latest SHOUTcast DNAS server plugin (dsp-1-8-2b).
My question is about the quality of the stream. In earlier versions it was possible to choose for a stream of 8 kpbs and 11 khz.
Right now it's only possible to choose the lowest quality which is 24kpbs and 22 khz.
Does anyone know why shoutcast decided to remove these lower quality settings ? And does anyone know if they will return in newer versions ? I've tried to install an older version of the SHOUTcast DNAS server plugin, but it isn't working fine and not stable at all.
Martin
