I have a lot of music I like to hear only occasionally, and other songs I like to hear often. Ideally I would like to be able to rate songs between 1 & 10, and unrated songs would default to 5. When WinAmp loads a track, it would get the rating, then generate a random number between 1 & 10. If the rating exceeds the random number it would play the track, otherwise, it would load another track and repeat. That is it, really simple, which I think fits with the winamp approach.
It would be best if WinAmp would support "grading" songs as I listen. The grade could be stored anywhere convenient -- unfortunately there is no ID field for this, but it could be stuck in a little used field or embedded at the end of the comment field.
I posted this in other categories trying to find out if any such thing exists, and looked over your wish-list. Hopefully this is an original suggestion.
