does (can??) milkdrop follow the volume control of winamp.

the up down controll volume while milkdrop is running, but milkdrop doesnt change intensity with the audio level change.

It a little wierd to see a full blown visualisation and not hear any sound.

i thought they would track each other.

I don't think this would necessarily be a good idea, or even that it's possible... if I have my music going five times the volume of what I have it normally, it doesn't necessarily mean I want the presets to be five times as reactive to the beat, the waves would just be huge.

I don't think MilkDrop even receives the volume from Winamp, and even if it did, you could have your speakers off or turned up really high or low.... so it probably isn't feasible to match MD to the volume level.

I really cant find a reason to ask this question myself, but if you notice on EVERYvis plugin out there that if you turn the speakers off they still work.
