If you still have problems with Winamp, and you're using WDM drivers for your soundcard or AC97 onboard audio device, you might wanna install this Microsoft WDM patch for 98SE. THIS ONLY APPLIES TO 98SE(4.10.2222) USERS, PATCH WILL NOT INSTALL ON Win98(4.10.1998).

You're right, it's related to that one, but 269601 is newer than 242937. Unfortunately there's no page on 269601 on MS' support site though.
