I am still chuckling to myself after reading that article about the new "felt tip pen trick" for defeating copy protection on audio cd's. And now, they want to try and make felt tip pens illegal? Hahahahahahahaha, I can just picture it now on Ebay, boxes of pens going for a god-awful amount of money posting the heading "Defeat your copy protected cd's today!!!" Hahahahahahaha
I have to admit, reading this story reminds me of another, and all hackers and crackers out there know this one (I am surprised it's not a bedtime story by now for all the little hackers out there) about the young man with the Captain Crunch whistle and the phone system.
All in all, I just want to say that the government cracks me up. They try to keep us all in line, and restrict a lot of things that we do day to day without a care in the world, and for all the money and time people think of ways to stop copying, cracking, etc. they always miss one little flaw.
So to all those people who want to stop us, one phrase sums it all up....
"My pen is truly mightier than your sword"

I know what the captain crunch whistle and the phone did exactly, but why did it work. I know it was the EXACT tone as the ATT... thing... I don't know what that had to do with it, explain:(

Thank you papadoc for the added info. I now realize that not everyone knows the whole deal to that story.
