WSZ Confusion

this is what my skin folder looks like. i'm confused as to why the skin titled *pacific* plays on my winamp...but doesn't have the same extension as the other skins. what am i doing wrong..and how can i change the format completely... help please :)

Winamp reads *.wsz, *.zip and folders as skins, there's nothing weird in your skins folder, if you want you can zip the 'pacific' folder to 'pacific.zip' and then rename it to 'pacific.wsz' (you may have to turn off 'hide extensions for known file types' in explorer's view/folder options). Once you have the skin as a wsz you can safely delete the folder.
