Hello developers
I'm a developer myself but I haven't got the time to learn how to create plugins. I have a request for a what should be a very simple input plugin.
All it needs to do is support EXE files in the playlist. Instead of "playing" the file it simply needs to execute the EXE and wait until it's finished. I can give you the Windows API functions that you need if necessary.
What I want to do is provide a way of adding in time-of-day announcements into a playlist for use in broadcasting/streaming. I will create an EXE that will play the required MP3 files directly which contain verbal numbers.
Obviously the best way to do it is to add this functionality directly into a plugin. Actually that may not be too hard either if anyone is interested.
