hey guys im new to WA3 skinning and I made a drawing of a skin ide like to do, it'll most likely be a pain to skin but i'll do it cos i like how it looks, my only question is do you guys know of any sites that will teach me a good way to make something look like a hole has broken through or something shot at it? My skins theme is it was in a ship and the ship crashe di guess and it got all roughed up and the components fell out of it, but were attach at the cables that made them work, hence the slew of cable in my skin, but i want to make the 3 red circes at the top look beaten to hell as if they had been smashed, but i have no idea how to do it, i tried cracks but mine came out bad, anyway if you guys can help me that would be great here an image for ya, if it doesnt work refresh ur browser, my AOL FTP is kinda slow sometimes doesnt work out right.

I kinda like it, but the wires are too much for me. Maybe less wires, or more organised would do it. I dont have any tutorials or ways to do cracks, never did them.... [edit]wait I do have http://www.eyeball-design.com/fxzone/tutorial_ifx05.htm :) [edit]
Found it somewhere in the links... :)
Lcd's look nice...

I can't get to the picture. It says "Sorry, We Can't Find That Page
You might try retyping the URL, or searching below."

Just refresh the page and it should work. Failing that, copy and paste the url instead of clicking the link.
I like it blueballs. The wires are a bit too much for me, but the rest looks very nice.

hrm it's cool; a couple things tho
first of all, make the "hoses" there look like they belong there, like they have a place to go and weren't just stuck on with some glue
and here's one that would be uber l33t but would be a scripting nightmare
make each container moveable, and then have the hoses stretch and skew to fit

how about if the four on each unit (the four hoses holding it) were locked into little peices of metal that are screwed to the unit, would that be good?
and is that stretch and skew thing really possible?

I think it is possible.......I'm just thinking that if you've ever used a program called Reason where you can move wires and you see them kinda like that and they have a lil bounce etc when you move em....that would be so very l33t
the hoses could work with screws; or they could also work if they had a little "hole" in bevels for them....I dunno; I just know what I like
