API to configure/select AVS?

Is there an API for a general purpose plugin to access which will alter/select the current AVS visualization?

no, that would have to be an API inside of the AVS, not Winamp, check and see if the readme says anything, if not, you might have to get creative, but that is prolly more work than it's worth.
