I installed version 2.9 and it still wont work. Does the same thing, starts to play for one second then the sound goes. Tried switching my output to every available option, no good.
Using 2.9, and have AC-Link 3-D Game audio as a sound driver.
It used to work okay, but then it just is acting up lately, uninstalled it all reinstalled it, uninstalled my sound driver reinstalled that, still nothing....help me I dont want to have to use Media Player it sucks

Could you send us a copy? Because, unless I'm very much mistaken, Winamp v2.8 (http://www.winamp.com/download/) is the official current release :D
