why isn't it a "jump to file" function in milkdrop, like the one in appearing in winamp when pressing J .
It is annoying to stop milkdrop, change song, than start milkdrop again...
It takes to long to search for the song by scrolling the pages in the playlist when it contains over 200 pages.

This would be a neat feature if possible.

I know how to use the playlist, but it is not very easy to find the song i'm looking for, when i have 7000 mp3's.
i usually never even scroll the playlist when using winamp. only the "jump to file" function. it is faster than looking for the song.

I think it would be useful to have this possibility, too.
But, for multimonitoring - like I have - it would also be useful to have the plugin running on one screen and winamp on another. This is possible with the current MilkDrop release, but I can't use keyboard-shortcuts in winamp then. Everything has to go by mouse. And so the "jump to file" isn't possible by pressing J, only by going through winamps context-menue - but how to enter something then? And I can't close the window by mouse anymore...
It would be great to have MilkDrop as a stand-alone program, getting it's inputs from WinAmp.

Does your video card support putting the overlay onto one monitor and the rest on the other? If so maybe you could run it in overlay mode, and the keyboard shortcuts would work as normal on Winamp, I'n not sure whether that would work...

No, because I'm doing it "the old way": having two different video cards...
