1st WA3 design.. [Archive]

Well, most of you won't know me but, hey ^_^

I decided earlier that I wanted to atleast try skinning winamp3, so I found out an old website logo design and started messing around with it and I came up with this (http://www.kyle.brough.btinternet.co.uk/WA3.html).

I know it's not the greatest skin in the world but i'm pretty pleased with it so far. What do you think? ^_^

I have a few questions about it too:

Will it be possible, for the time display to open when the play button is pressed, and for it to close when the stop button is?

I wanted the thinger to be able to be 'dragged' by clicking and holding on the button, is this possible? I also want it to 'lock' into place when its fully extended.

I could use some help coding this thing as i'm not very good at that sort of thing, if any of you are interested and can help - it will be greatly appreciated ^_^

I really like this skin, especialy how flat it look. It's very different from other skins, and I'd like to have a look at the logo you used. Also, having the time display open/close on play/stop is possible, I unfortunately don't know anything about scripting so I don't know how. I don't know about the draggable thinger though, it would atleast be possible with a custom script, you'll need someone good to help you with that. I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding someone willing to script it.

hey ^_^ thx a lot

this was the original logo used (see attach) so as you can see the basic layout was pretty much done for me. I was going to use this on a sort of site for my skins...but I'm just not very good at html so I gave up :(

It's small, so wont be taking up loads of precious desktop space, and the clean design looks really nice. :up:

very nice indeed. i would use it when it's done.

but, i think the inside of the thing (the bluish with the recessed circles) could be done better. :P

I like the whole skin etc, and the thinger is possible too :) although i cannot code it... sorry :(

so far, i don't like it verx much.. there are too few textures until now.. but let's see how the final version looks like! :)
