Well, I had my computer up and running for 14 hours yesterday, after a fresh install of XP, and it all ran flawlessly. I was running Ots, Wireless network, Remote Administrator, Milkdrop, Stereo Link, and some background programs that I can't figure how to turn off. Maybe I just needed that fresh install to update everything, and to configure all of my drivers properly.
XP helped with the Milkdrop resource problem, and all seems to be working great now. Now my biggest resource hog is Remote Administrator. It will eat up a lot of my resources, but as long as I minimize it on the remote computer when it is not being used, everything works great, and my system resources are not tasked nearly as much.
So it looks like my problem is solved. :D B) Hopefully for good.
