Is there a plug-in out there that i can use with my 5.1 speakers? Kinda sucks that i have 5 speakers and a sub, and i only get MP3s out of 2 speakers and a sub. Will DFX do the job? However, i don't want to spend the money on a little WinAMP plug-in. Any help is appreciated.

what sound card and speakers do you have. the creative cards have faux seround sound algarythems that can give you 2.1 to 4.1 sound but i don't know if it can put 2.1 to 5.1. 2.1 to 4.1 is just stero doubling but 5.1 would be a bit more complex. both you speakers and sound card have to suport it I think (sorry 'bout the spelling, I'm not exactly an english major.)

and have your sound card (maybe in control panel or its mixer program) have it emulate 5.1.. mine has it in the mixer..
