I know it might sound simple, but as I am new in this thing,I would like to know how do I have a player for my own station to be in my website? Any help? Thanks!
Can I make a widget player on my website?

I have been searching for this answer for 8 hours. With all the searches leading me to conflicting sites and answers dating from 2006 to 2011. As far as I can make of it there is no workable widgets for shoutcast since it is impossible to find the API that will work for any broadcasts.
It seems shoutcast is no longer supporting widgets. They do have streampad but it appears to be for playlists and is very low profile at the bottom of your web page.
I do wish there was some definitive answers on whether widgets are possible since I need to decide where to go for my radio streaming service.

For an audiostream you can use the Native Flash Radio Player
There are some players available, take a look here: http://blog.codingexpert.de/?tag=internet-radio

http://xspf.org/ and http://musicplayer.sourceforge.net/works great just when you built the playlist for the flash player you add ; to the end of your stream source like http://host:8000;/ and it will connent and play I used this player all the time~ According to the ship's log we're down to our last 3000 vomit bags. It'll never be enough.
search the forums! don't PM me on how-to, or ask me to setup you system. you do it so you learn.

there is no flash player readily available that works with shoutcast
jwplayer MAY be the exception, but I suspect they are not"If you don't like DNAS, write your own damn system"

I'm glad this thread was made. I currently am stuck using the Windows Media Player Embed code on my site and frankly, it's ugly. I'd love to have a embedded Flash player that can stream .pls, .asx, .m3u, etc.... streaming audio extensions but have yet to find one. Please post up links if you can help us out. I'm running several different channels (ie, rap, rock, jazz, etc.) so it would be nice to have one player with a selector on it.
As far as jwplayer guys, I tried getting it to work but had trouble with the streaming part. It's not very clear as to which file extensions it works with. It def won't work with .asx & .pls playlists and aac stream types. I tried and searched.
This native player is awesome... if you're using MP3 streams. However it doesn't like running AAC. http://blog.codingexpert.de/?p=66Last edited by DirtMcGirt; 11 August 2011, 15:19.
