Avi and subtitles
 
I am still new at using computer so two questions please..I downloaded Traffic from Kazaa DivxDvdAvi rip said with subtitles I then proceeded to download abot six players that said would do subtitles I have every codec I think known in the free world but after seventy five hrs of downloading I can't play Traffic and it's now corrupted. Help and thank you. Ps still can't attach pictures from my files in the "browse and search..soooo stuuupid

as it is an (illegal) dvd rip, then the subtitle data will have been lost when it was converted to mpeg. try buying the dvd.

not neceesarily. you can (not that i can, have done, or would know how) rip a dvd to include the subtitles.

www.doom9.org is a great place for divx info, maybe they have something about reading subtitles from retail dvd's :)

thank you. have gone there so far Radlight did the best job of trying to find subs amazing capacities but what do I know my sound was good as I only have laptop to play on. Having trouble loading video to winamp three..."blow" Johnny Depp and Ususal Suspects no subs no picture either..

Thanks a bunch..Have about seven codecs from Divx and windows power 8 and so on and so on and subby dubby doo but anything that helps again thanks

I don't want to belabor the post but when someone downloads from Kazaa and the information says DivxAvi doesn't that mean all the info should be there. I am Using DSL modem and Windows Xp..Thanks
