old games
anybody think that modern computer manufacturers should at least make their computers compatible with all those old games that are out there. somebody gets a new computer, and then they cant play like some of the best games out there, just because the computer companies couldnt provide a simple partition on the computers. i know we can do it ourselves, but why dont the computer companies do it? we pay them to make the computers work, so shouldnt they?

For starters, many ancient games used the processors clock speed to regulate the timing of the game - thus they appear to run at rediculous speeds when used on a 200Mhz processor, as they were designed to run on something that required 4Mhz. The moral of the story is to keep original systems, if you still require the games/software that runs on them... |
