Being single sucks...
 

I broke up with my girlfriend last week. I thought it would be for the best if we took a break from our relationship since things had been getting tense lately. I didn't post anything last week because I wasn't sure if we'd be able to work out our differences... but that just got flushed down the drain. She had me fooled for the past year into thinking that she actually loved me. I just found out from a friend last night that she's already seeing someone else... not even a week after we broke up! It's amazing just how fast I was replaced. I feel used. In a way, I hope that my friend is wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's all true.

It really does help, its a nice temporary fix, at least its a better alternative to drugs.

damn, sorry to hear that. i had a similar but far less damning incident. broke up, but as far as i know she's not seeing anyone else (seing as she just left for college.... which may or may not be a good thing). i don't know how i'll take it when she does eventually find someone else.

except for the no action problems, i think being single is cool..

damn, this is one depressing thread.

you know what's worse? having an *almost* girlfriend who'll give you the action but not the emotional perks of having a girlfriend, ie support and love. it's like a emotional cocktease.

(had a girl like that before. and the girl i'm seeing now is shaping up to be the same way...)

That's got to suck. But count your blessings. Some of us *cough* me *cough* have never had any sort of "relationship", a "girl friend", or for that matter, a "first kiss". Which bring me to some sort of quote "It is better to have loved and lost then never love at all" or something like that. But anyway, don't turn to boose. That will only make things worse in the long run. But that must suck. Hope you find a true love.

Alright, although I just had some orange juice with a good bit of rum in it I'm still fit enough to say this.

In relationships its important to make the seperation between being in love with someone and not being alone. If you break up with some or even worse you get dumped, there is nothing to worry about. If she was ment for you, she would come back otherwise you move on to something better and more fullfilling.

Its only then you would realize how shallow your previous relationships were. For now, I would just suggest you just take each day as they come and do your best to accept and move on. Taking any new relationships as slowly as you can to avoid carrying over your old habbits.

Look on the bright side, though. If you hadn't found out now, you would have found out later. If it wasn't going to work out (or work out very poorly), it's better to get a clean break as early as possible. Now you're free to go after the kind of woman you deserve.

im sure im not the first girl to admit this, but all women are EVIL....keep that in mind...we can pretend like we are nice, but deep down inside us (or, for some women, not so deep) theres a demon....the only difference is some women know how to control it, others dont...or maybe they just dont care.......... I guess what Im trying to say is Im sorry.....I wish we could be built more like a guy.
