this is mine... destkop icons annoy me... so i made the desktop a menu on the taskbar... and i change the picture every so often... to whatever i find that catches my eye.

Boplicity, I was just wondering, what Winamp skin is that in your screenshot?

Wow! Another Mynamp user- and I thought i was the only one who knew about it.

Flatmatt- like, wow. I had no idea anyone else was using that for wallpaper... and I posted it so long ago!!! :) May I suggest what I did- find one of those little programs that alternates your wallpaper every startup/hour and using all six tiles? :)

Chica's desktop

Wallpaper changes at least once a week, but it's usually either something from happypencil.com, digitalblasphemy.com, weather stuff, or cars.

It's been overcast recently in CA, and for some reason this sleepy Degas just seems to work in my room right now with the white ambient light.

My desktop

This is the wallpaper I use when I'm running Windows...I can't get X Windows to run right now in Linux :(

The wallpaper is a picture of my cat, Phobos, with some text adapted from the preview posters for Ecks Vs. Sever.

I don't think you can consider me a user until I actually have...now where can I get it?

i too was wondering about that command prompt thing.

the command prompt is DTerm (dimension terminal), running within the ps2 emulation engine for debug purposes.

Its the same thing, apart from the start button, empty taskbar and the clock.

You can have an icon-free desktop and the taskbar on auto-hide, with your wallpaper only showing, and still have it considered a "desktop"...

Damn! :igor: I was just listening to music, and clicked the second picture. Just then, my mom walked in, and asked if I wanted a cheeseburger, and a couple seconds later (when the picture loaded), she laughed. :eek: Haha, she thought I was looking at porno. And not only that... I'm listening to Purple Pills by D12, Bizarre's part was on, and the perverted parts were on, making it look and sound that much worse... :D

Anyway, sorry, I don't know where I could upload a pic of my desktop. Mine's of Drowning Pool, it says Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. I have my Winamp3 windows at 70% opacity, with the Thinger off, and the EQ/PL Winamp2-style, in the center of the screen. With the standard Windows XP blue theme. Only three icons, I like keeping my desktop clean. :)

Just take a screenshot, save it as a JPEG file and add it to your nect post as an attachment.
