Oh, I see... thought I'd have to find a place to host the image online. Here it is, hope this works...

Edit: Oh well.

where ya pick up that application to display that info on the top-left?

anyways i'll share a tip with anyone else, to get rid of that shortcut overlay in XP:
1. Start regedit.
2. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile
3. Delete the IsShortcut registry value.

that way you don't need to download anything to do it for ya. i just think icons look better without it.

here's mine (wallpaper done by me... not bad for 1/2 hour's work... i've done better though.)

Here's mine for today:

My KDE3 Linux box.

I don't normally participate in posts like this, but how about something different for a change? :) This looks a bit different than the normal Windows shot.

Here is what my Linux box looks like:

Screen 1

Screen 2

Screen 3

I like my desktop simple, but sweet.

By the way. My web browser, Opera, was designed for an old version of QT for KDE 2, so it doesn't quite match the rest of my GUI. They are supposed to make it QT 3 compatible in the next major version, so everything should match then (and have prettier bars and stuff, like the file browser).

It`s called CoolMon. I forgot the exact URL, but it`s by Daisy Man Software. It shouldn`t be too tough to find.;)

Gotta love that Richard D. James sound. :) The new CD, Drukqs, is pretty darn awesome.
