Microsoft Word HELP

OK, I understand that this is a WA forum, but after scouring Microsoft's site, and may other forums, I have come up with no answer, and the great forums at WA.com are my last hope. My problem is this: is there any way that Microsoft Word (I have 2000) can have it so that I can create a document, and have a list of names/addresses ect, that automattically print where I want them to using such keywords as #NAME #Address, ect so that I don't have to type in each individual name,e ct. for each document printed? I am trying to be as clear as possible, but I don't quite know how to explain this, which may be the reason for my lack of results at other sites. Please tell me if this is possible, and if there is a site that explains how to do this, please just post a link.

Thanks A LOT!

What you're after is called "Mail merge"

Type F1 in Word and do a search on that. :)

I am surprised that the MS site did not have anything about Mail Merge on it. I thought it was one of the standard features.

My Fault, not MS.com's

It is most likely on there, I just had no idea what to search for. My seraches were for "forms" "autocplete forms" stuff like that. So it's not supprising I couldn't find help anywhere else. Only the geniouses (sp?) at WA.com had any idea what I was talking about.

Late

I posted my previous post 2 min too late. I just found a lot for Mail Merge at MS.com. I guess they have time to help us paying users after they figure out just how many different shapes a paper clip can become. :igor:

I think the paper clip was their chief priority in developing Office because it was completely useless and that is why the paper clip is perfect, but the rest of Office tends to frustrate you.

I don't know, Outlook is quite good, except for when it randomly refuses to sort my emails into the corect folders when they arrive, and the way Windows won't exit if Outlook is still running, and.. and...

See, at first you don't think what I said is true, but then when you think about it, it dawns on you...OFFICE REALLY SUCKS!
