sound forge uses the fraunhofer codec for mp3's.. therefore i have to register it.. which it wont allow me to do.. is there a way i can use a different codec /plugin such as the lame? thanks

ummmm, no cracks on this board, sorry man....might wanna edit your post to NOT contain a request for a crack, could result in banning.

but, you should be able to use another encoder. check the manufacturer's site for a list :)
