faith in humanity

today something happened that restored my faith that all ppl are essentially good
i was biking home from my girlfriends house, when my bike tire caught on a pot-hole.
i was going pretty fast, 35km/h or so, and i didn't have my helmet on (bloody stupid of me)
i hit the ground on my left side, my head hit the ground and bounced a few times, i was pinned under my bike
i think i may have been unconscious for a moment, when i opened my eyes, i couldnt' feel my legs
after lying there for a moment, i was able to push the bike off of myself, and shakily stand up.
while this was happening i was in the middle of a VERY busy street. reather than simply going around me, several drivers (some who had been going in the other direction) stopped, and had their cars around me, so that no cars would hit me.
i was bleeding from my head, elbow, shoulder, and knee, andwas having some trouble standing up
two women, i have no idea who they are, helped me pick up my bike, and got me to the side of the road, and offered to drive me home

all these ppl stopped and helped, and quite probably saved me from more serious injury
they dind't have to do that, they didn't know who i was, and were putting themselves out to help me, but they did, nonetheless
it was amazing that total strangers would do that
after this, i don't care what other ppl say, there is still kindness left in the world

Wow, that`s cool man. I`ve never really thought that the world was all bad anyways, but still, this is touching. I`m glad you`re alright. ;)
