Problems with my skins on classic.winamp.com
 

2 problems:

1) Kieslowski - Blue hasn't been published yet, although it was last updated on July 7 (CID: 111755)

2) Lost Highway has a public rating of 0 stars, even though no one has rated it, except the staff reviewer, who gave it 4. (CID: 115371)

Lost highway should have never been published, it is way to dark and totally un-usable. We turn down other skins without buttons because of this reason, and this one should be no different. Nobody has the buttons in a pressed state while they are looking for which button to push. Are we playing some politics here, not approve others, but approve the ones from the forum members? That is wrong!!!

I can find the buttons on this one, it wasnt anywhere near as dark as the other recent skin which was denied.

The buttons are 40,40,40 against a 0,0,0 background, which is very dark, but as long as the monitor is set up correctly is still quite legible.

Theres more contrast on this skin than there is on my yaxay one, so i guess that should be unpublished also.

As specified in the skin description, the skin is supposed to be used on a dark background in a dark room. Under those circumstances, the buttons are totally useable.

If someone tries to use the skin in a brightly lit environment on a dark monitor, then obviously it will be hard to see - but then they're not using it the way it's suppsoed to be used - and no skin on this site is meant for everyone.

I put my desktop to black, loaded your skin, turned off all the lights, and after a few minutes I could indeed see the controls. Skin has been republished, however, I am still in the believe the functionality is not great, even when you turn everything black and off. Functionality has been set at 3 stars.

I've no problems with that.

However, Kieslowski Blue has been published, with a 4 star review, but it has a 0 star public rating (like the other one did). And what's worse, it has someone else's bloody comments on the skin description :igor: :

Data-base screw up, delete it, and resubmit from scratch. With same day review as we have now, won't be long before it's published.
