my first skin
 

this is my first skin and i need help makin some of the stuff ie font color and other graphics (not very big) but i woould like comments and other stuff on this skin. its my first so it might not be good. :winamp: keep in mind that im not done. some of the stuff i didnt do yet. im very dertermened 2 get this done.

very very very early and plain so far. try spucing up the EQ. i recommend using psp. it's easy to learn and you can get some pretty stylish effects.

if you have any questions, feel free to ask and somone will answer

psp is paint shop plus right/ well i dont have it\ how could i get it off imesh. ooh yah how do i spuce up the eq. the reason im makin this skin was cuz i wanted a dark skin but all the dark skins had a gay pic on them. also some how i (myself) have grown over the dark stuff(ie dark wallpapers,skins, icons) so i dont know what im sayin. :winamp:

right now, your EQ is just black with white lines. try adding some bevels first. an easy effect in psp but makes a big difference. after that try adding some texture. it takes some time to make a really great skin. i made about 6 skins before i made anything half decent. just experiment in psp and you'll be making some kick ass skins in no time

the mountian dew skin shows potential, the black skin is kinda another story. If you could do more with it, change the EQ, although i like simple skins, and maybe change things like the Titlebar.bmp and the monoster, and the VOLume.bmp and balance.bmp, youd have a nice start on the main.bmp being done.

The way id do the vol.bmp would be to take the black BG and draw 1 white line across the middle, and make a simple slider like the ones you have currently. same with the balance. the songbar (whats it called...) thingy id do the same way. your EQ is nice, its simple, but please include a graph with it, greyscale possibly (for the linegraph, not the bar)the ~ thing not the -|- thing.

change the titlebars to match and you have a nice simple skin.
