Intro File not playing!?!?!? HELP!
I don't get it! I was reading the the config for the server, and it says:
; (i.e. C:\intro%d.mp3 would be C:\intro64.mp3 if you are casting at 64kbps). ; The default is no IntroFile So, I have a intro file I made on my computer, so I put this onto the last line: ; IntroFile=C:\Program Files\SHOUTcast\intro48.mp3 The intro file's kbps is 48, and that is what I am broadcasting at. Yet still I don't hear the intro file when I listen to my radio! What could be wrong??? PLEASE HELP!!! |
remove the semi-colon to uncomment the line
Eh...I don't think i'm supposed to delete the semi-colon, go to the config, they are supposed to be there aren't they?
If you want to use the introfile remove the damn semi-colon
Hey. Thanks. I was having that same problem too. Completely forgot about that damn comment line.
Alright I removed the damn semi-colon, and well, I hear the intro file, but I don't hear the stream after the intro file plays. And yes, my stream is set exactly the same as the intro mp3 file (48kps, 44.100 kHz) What could be wrong now?? Help! :(
is intro file EXACTLY the same
It has to be the exact same frequency, and channel mode so if you are broadcasting at 44100 Stereo then your intro file has to be 44100 stereo. Bitrate while important in some players doesn't make much difference in Winamp. |
Hmmm well I got it to work, ummm is there any way to convert a MP3 to 48kbps/400.11kHz, Mono? All the programs I have don't convert a MP3 to that exact format, and it sucks. Do you know any program that does? Please help, thanks! :D
