Good company? Good case?

We're going to order this today if I get good feedback on the company and the case from you guys :) Plus we'll just go ahead and add all the drives/keyboard/mouse/window/lights with it, so they match. If we decide the keyboard and mouse are crap (which they probably are, for that price), we'll just get different ones later.

But we mostly wanna know about the case and the company that's selling it.

The case, as far as I have been told here is a Chieftec Dragon. a company called Antec also sells the same case (SX1040, I think..... search Google for more information). For more info, check out http://www.overclockers.co.uk

That case looks amazing. If I found a company I could trust that sells it, I'd go for the blue or silver. :)

damn it, what is with everyone and those Chieftec cases? Am I the only one that realizes they are ugly. But for some reason, everyone likes them. If you are conserned about eyecandy, get the Ahanix Platinum XP, and if you want quality (and don't have a budget) get a Lian Li case. But the Chieftec ones, are just plain ugly, and I don't think they are extreamly high quality either. So, why do you people want one?

/me seconds that. btw my compaq has interchangeable face plates, but i think they stopped selling them. anyways, i find it a waste of money to buy a chieftec case. besides, i'm happy with beige :rolleyes:

Dang, you're right, what an idiot I am. I sure do have horrible taste. Good thing I asked you whether my taste was good instead of asking if that company was any good. Cuz I care. Cuz you'll have to look at my case every day :rolleyes:

Personally I think Lian Li cases are ugly... but I wouldn't have told you that unless you asked my honest opinion.

For those who care and have my taste in interesting, artistic, fun, bright, colorful cases... I'm getting GREEN or possibly BLUE.


What's wrong with Chieftec cases that they're such a waste of money? I don't exactly have $300 to spend on a case, people. Otherwise I'd get this:

Well, after seeing that that's the only company that really has a good price on it, and seeing that they're not really reliable...

That was me. And I love it. The are 2 things you want to watch out for though.

1) There is no slide out motherboard tray.

2) It's not alluminum. It's steel.

Other than that, I love this case.
