Which ones that? Unless you have some extra tool plugins, I cant find a transparency tool on my copy(PS 6)

If you have MS Office, you probably have MS Photo Editor. That's what I use to do transparances. With photoshop, make sure that the part you want to be transparent is 1 color that is not used anywhere in the gif or png like if it is a blue picture, try R 234, G 0, B 0. Then in Photo Editor, select the transparancy tool on the toolbar and choose that color (in my example 234 , 0 , 0).

the WinME version of paint can do this, but gifs only. they removed
it from XP paint. oh well i just paint and PSP, pretty easy to figure
out.
