Network usage... spyware?

The point where the graph drops off is where I killed Winamp 3.

This has happened 3 times in the last week. It decides to start sending and receiving data at a nice 16+K/s (which is what I'm capped upload at), and I seriously have no idea WHY.

Add to this that I have a 3GB/month data usage cap - at the end of last month it did over 550MB before I figured out what was doing it in the space of just a few hours, and 200MB yesterday afternoon.
Thismorning it started and I was able to catch it quickly...

Anyway, basically I won't be using W3, or doing any more development for it, until a reason why this can be explained, and it can be stopped.
... Back to Winamp 2 it is.

And just so you know... Winamp2 has the same settings which you obviously turned off at some point as well.

WA3 doesn't send anything that WA2 wouldn't.
