Ad's and Junk

Anyone who uses Winamp3 reply. After deleteing the 4 links to installing AOL on your computer has anyone who signed up for Winamp3 actually installed America Online?

What 4 icons?:p ;) Actually, I didn't get the icons installed on my system when I installed Winamp3, so, No, didn't go the next step and install the AOL Internet software.

Proably not. Everyone who downloads Winamp3 already has an ISP. Whether is AOL itself or another ISP. Duh. Unless you gave a cd-r of assorted programs that contained Winamp3 for a friend that doesn't have an ISP, then good for him if he wants to signup for that company.

I am Jesus 10th September 2002 23:07

I don't need AOL.

CrowbarTK Hullo 10th September 2002 23:19

i deleted them all right after i installed WA3

jyvasaa 10th September 2002 23:27

i didn't get any icons. or maybe i didn't notice because i am using opera and my desktop is really cluttered.

whiteflip 10th September 2002 23:32

10 icons on my desktop

yeah people who "download" winamp already have the internet. What would a bunch of icons convy to us that AOL is a much better internet service provider? Its way more expensive than dial up should be. which is at most 13 dollars a month MAX. Juno anyone? Or I could get Cable internet for a monopolistic expensive 45 dollars a month

Microsoft plans on working hard to bring broadband prices down to 25 dollars a month. That would be sweet.

Take that AOL!

Its already cheap to get Broadband. $39.99/mo using MSN Broadband. Watch TV, and MSN shows their MSN Explorer browser during commercials.
Already my friends pay $23 for AOL, and another phone line (about $15-$20 more). Cheaper, and easier maintaining one phone line, and DSL on the same line.;)

Friends are stupid. Or really bad at service shopping. Still AT&T as soon as Excite was disbanded cut bandwidth in half and raised prices 5 bucks. Grr I'm thinking about MSN when they drop prices.

I did't get any icons

AND AOL doesn't exist in Denmark + i Have a 2MB Download/512KB upload for 85 DKK (11.19 USD)/month - so they can go fuck themselves :D

Curi0us_George 12th September 2002 16:46

You mean 2Mb Download/512Kb upload. :)

Vie 12th September 2002 16:59

I vaporised them:D

whiteflip 12th September 2002 19:50

i hate how denmark started out with a broadband infastructure built in already :( 512Kb upload would kick ass :( dont you have like bad ass taxes though that cover some of that broad band expenses

the US phone network should be a heavily regulated private sector because it is neccesary for the nation to work. just like highways and planes. damn it i want 10Mb downloads and 2Mb uploads for 19.95 a month grrr.

AOHELL could probably gain popularity if theyd just take away those damn ads, have better customer service, and stop it with their own fruity looking browser.

Guess it'll never happen.
