ile tell you all what, if i dont start working on this soon or making any decent amount of progress within the next 2 weeks i will post all of the versions i have and the PSD file to go with them...

the psd file is very organized with over 150 layers

i will also post the fonts so you dont have to make any horrible changes...


but hopefully i wont have to do this lol..but i would really like to see a completed version of this skin someday whether i did it or not..as long as i can see it sitting on my desktop

no no...i just cant seem to find the time or energy to work on it, everytime i open the psd file to work on it i stare at it for about 5 minutes and then hafta go do something else..i think i have some kind of skinners block

when orriginaly started skinning i was able to finish a wa2 skin in a week or two, later it took me months of idleness to do it
ideas come rarely and last little

maybe you just need to take a little rest and some free time

but i havent been doing anything on it for so long alredy! lol

ok! i got working and made the buttons on the main window color-themeable

i also made sure we had a colon there for the timer since i seemed to have left that out before...

i slightly nudged the eq/playlist buttons to the right so that they could be centered better.

as soon as i get all the different gammagroups taken care of this skin SHOULD BE skinnable...(the eq and options drawers wont be properly skinnable but you can make something that looks decent enough on the main window and eventualy it will effect those drawers as well...)

i will release the next beta version and ask you guys to try making themes then make a decision as to whether or not you think it should start out colorless or not..

another question i have is there anyway to actualy physicaly change the images on the skin as an option? IE...i want maybe entirely different looking interface options for the mainwindow?

this would allow me to make higher quality themes too..

didn't catched what you meant, but i am eagerly looking forward to making themes, have some cool ideas already

i might give the option to change how the interface on the skin looks..

and as i have said before i plan for that metal button that is above the 'options drawer' button to bring up guides...that say which button does what etc...

i think both of these things would be done in a similar manner

Sorry, I have been moving, and I just got xbox live today so have been messing around with that hehe...was actualy funny because the VERY FIRST game I joined, rpeterclark was in...was really strange lol...needless to say he proceeded to kick the crap out of myself and my friend....

What do you guys think would be the best way to promote a band using a skin? I am thinking maybe a button with a drawer that has a link to the bands website, or a spot where u can download one of their songs

cake, the skins pretty sweet, a while ago i was lookin at the first (and at the time the only) preview you had of it, with the guy curled up, and i was like WTF. i thought that was gonna be the actual skin haha, it's lookin cool now though. is this your first?
