spruce up the winamp UI like this program QCD..
 

Winamp does a good job in being a lite & stable player, but the UI really needs some sprucing up from its plain jane looks, like a True colour default UI, fading animated text displays, bigger display window for whats playing, a small window in the main prog window to show visualizations etc. A prog called QCD player http://www.quinnware.com/news.html does this really well, wish winamp would look that cool...

The Winamp 2.X UI is set. Period. Forever. Untill the sun stops burning. If you want to do fancy crap use Winamp3. You can do whatever the fuck you want there.

yes if winamp3 then so be it but...
 

First of all i can't understand the hositility of your reply, it was just a suggestion, i certainly hope the creators of Winamp don't use such downright arrogant & offensive language like crap & the f**k word esp when greeting a stranger. Where have all the nice friendly guy's of the world gone? Whats wrong with trying to look good, it doesn't always have to be at the price of stability or be resource intensive, thats why gave the example of QCD, hope u guys will be little more open minded in Winamp3, thanks for your reply, JJ.
